kmxexii MAVS embraces horror for this flash of science fiction. "Things to Come" reminds me of Protector 101's soundtrack work in its minimalist, moody power. "Yearling" has a thrilling buildup to a morose hook that would serve as an apt epitaph. "Warning" continues the dark poignance, closing with ringing chimes to ambience. "Closed Loop" has a great, lo-fi synth hook, sounding stoic, almost upbeat, with an air of determination. "Omni" encapsulates quiet, building action, tapering off into the unknown. Favorite track: Closed Loop.

OrbGoblin Amazing album! I've never heard anything quite like this. This is perfect music for self-reflection. It puts you in such a unique headspace. Favorite track: Closed Loop.

Cavalier When i first listened to MAVS I realized this was the music I've been searching for all my life. It transcends genre and emotes like no other. This album is an absolute jewel. Favorite track: Closed Loop.

"When I first sat down to write MANIFOLD, I had just been listening non-stop to the soundtrack to Joey Ciccoline's 88:88 that MAVS had done. Now, usually I write my own music to my stuff, but his music was so haunting, and so beautiful that I knew that he was the perfect choice for this short. It needed an emotional hook that only MAVS can deliver: A kind of wise nostalgia and sadness.

I asked… He said yes.
